82 live cats, 5 dead animals seized at Falls Church home

FALLS CHURCH, Va. (AP) -- Fairfax County Police say Animal Protection Police removed 82 cats from a 52-year-old man's home in Falls Church.

The department said in a news release that the cats, plus five dead cats, were removed from the home on Saturday. Officials say Animal Protection received a tip from another county department.

Police say no charges have been filed, but the situation is under investigation.
