WASHINGTON - Did you see the ring around the moon last night? Social media was buzzing with images of a ring or halo that appeared around the moon Sunday evening.
FOX 5’s Gary McGrady say the phenomenon is caused by high level clouds made up of ice crystals. He says that the halo often times indicates a change in the weather.
In this case, the moon is correct. Rain is scheduled to arrive Tuesday night into Wednesday.
