Suspect arrested in triple stabbing at Martini's Restaurant and Lounge in Fort Washington

Police say they have made one arrest after three people were stabbed at a nightclub in Prince George's County.

The stabbing happened at Martini's Restaurant & Lounge on Cady Drive in Fort Washington at around 2 a.m. Monday morning.

Police say it all started out as a dance floor scuffle between two people and when two security guards tried to intervene the suspect stabbed both the guards and the man he was fighting with.

The suspect, Philip Harrington, 33, was arrested and is facing first degree assault charges.

All of the victims were transported to local hospitals. Two of the victims are security guards and the other a patron. One of the guards is believed to have serious stab wounds.

On Monday, a woman found a bloody knife under her car at the tire place across from the nightclub and officials are testing the knife to see if it was the weapon used in the stabbing.

Authorities are still believed to be searching for more suspects at this time.
