3-alarm apartment fire in Temple Hills, Maryland

- Fire crews in Prince George's County battled a 3-alarm apartment fire in the 3400 block of Brinkley Road in Temple Hills, Maryland. 

Crews arrived on the scene around 7 p.m. Saturday to find smoke and flames coming out of the 3-story apartment building.

According to Prince George's County Fire and EMS spokesperson Mark Brady, Three firefighters were evaluated for injuries, and one suffered heat exhaustion. 

Fire officials say at least 61 adults and 27 children were displaced.
Two dogs had to be rescued, and one sustained burns. Firefighters performed CPR on the animal.

Paul Hawkins, Prince George's County Fire/EMS Department photographer, tweeted out pictures and video showing fire coming out of the top floors.

Three buildings were affected, and 30 apartment units were damaged.
There's no word as to what caused the fire at this time.
