Trending: Photos of Japanese toddler and giant Poodles winning hearts on the internet

- Her photos are warming hearts around the globe. Instagram user Tamanegi has posted dozens of images showing precious moments between her one-year-old granddaughter and her beloved dogs.

The photos show the granddaughter, nicknamed "Mame," interacting with Tamanegi's three giant and fluffy Standard Poodles Qoo, 10, Riku, 8, and 5 month old Gaku, illustrating a very special relationship they share.

"The reason for... taking these pictures is for the growth record of my dogs and granddaughter," Tamanegi told KTVU.

An illustrator by trade, the photographer artistically captures moments during which the baby and the dogs engage in everyday life: taking naps, nuzzling up against each other with affection, eating together and just taking part in toddler play.

"My ideas comes from daily life and a little sense of fun," Tamanegi said.

In many of the other photos, Tamanegi gets pretty creative, dressing Riku and Mame in matching outfits, looking for books together, "reading" the newspaper together, and you can't help but get the sense the baby and dogs interact more like siblings than child and pet.

The grandmother says Mame watches the Poodles and learns from them.

"For example, when she is playing with a toy, she [shares] it with them. She... saw that I was brushing my dog's teeth, then she wanted to imitate," Tamanegi said.

Her photographs have moved many and Tamanegi's Instagram account has skyrocketed in popularity.  At last check, the grandmother had more than 143,000 people following her work.

She told us that she's happy that her photos have spoken to so many people but says she's a bit shocked by the sudden attention, attention she's garnered perhaps because she's managed to captured the pure and special bond that can grow between children and pets.

And she's done it with a lot of fun and flare. It also helps that the subjects of her photographs are pretty darn adorable.

Tamanegi calls the bond between Mame and her Poodles "a relationship of trust."

"They think of each other... the dog always look out for her," Tamanegi said.
