Sign keeps track of drug overdose deaths

Last year in Kent County, MD 5 people died and 19 overdosed on drugs. To highlight the problem, the county has installed an overdose awareness billboard with a running tally of drug overdoses and deaths.

The sign is a chilling reminder of epidemic of opioid use in Maryland.

The sign is a joint project of the Kent County, MD State Attorney's Office and various local police chiefs.
