News on Supreme Court rulings still delivered by interns making mad dash

Before they are posted online for the world to see - Supreme Court rulings are first printed and handed out on paper.

And that's where the interns come in!

No cameras are allowed in the courtroom, and even though the court does post their opinions online, interns get their hands on them first. Young journalists-in-training grab the first printed copies and make a mad dash to their station's reporters anxiously awaiting the news outside.
