White House fence jumper Omar Gonzalez to be sentenced

An army veteran who jumped the White House fence back in September finds out his sentence Monday.

Omar Gonzalez was carrying a knife when he made it all the way inside the White House and prosecutors want the judge to give him almost two years in prison for it.

They filed court documents asking for a 21-month sentence - the top-range recommended by federal-sentencing guidelines.

Gonzalez has a history of mental health problems and prosecutors say he quote: "needlessly endangered" people inside the White House.
