Suspect arrested in deadly shooting at Springdale park

Police have made an arrest in connection with a deadly shooting near a neighborhood recreation center in Springdale.

Officers were called to the Ardmore Neighborhood Recreation Center at around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday for a report of a shooting. When police arrived, they found four men suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victims were taken to the hospital, where 21-year-old Jeramey Williams died and a second victim was in critical condition. A third victim suffered a graze wound.

The suspect, 21-year-old Alonzo Lloyd, was treated and released. He is now in custody.

Police say Williams got into an argument with Lloyd and the second victim, which led to an exchange of gunfire. The third victim was not involved in the argument.

Lloyd is charged with second degree murder. Police say he has admitted his involvement in the shooting.
