Maryland senate debate ends after third-party candidate interrupts, takes stage

- A Maryland senate debate went off script when a third party candidate interrupted and demanded equal time to speak.

Green party candidate, Margaret flowers interrupted Rep. Chris Van Hollen and Del. Kathy Szeliga during a debate last night at the University of Baltimore.

Flowers didn't get to say much. Security escorted her out of the debate.

Van Hollen is a seven-term congressman. Szeliga is the minority whip in the Maryland House of Delegates.
