LEESBURG, Va. (AP) — The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office says it has made one of the biggest drug busts in county history.

The sheriff said Wednesday that a 3-month investigation culminated in the seizure of more than 2.5 pounds of powder cocaine, a 1-kilo brick of cocaine, 5 ounces of crack cocaine, 1.5 ounces of heroin, 6 pounds of marijuana, 5 ounces of PCP, 429 ecstasy pills, prescription pills, and $60,000 in cash.

The seizure occurred Tuesday at a Sterling hotel. Two men were arrested and charged with drug offenses. Thirty-seven-year-old Luis M. Garcia of New London, Connecticut, and 39-year-old Ronald Delaespada of Brooklyn, New York, are being held without bond. Police say Delaespada tried to flee the scene and was chased down by a police dog.
