Mother of accused Baltimore rioter regrets telling son to turn himself in after bail set at $500K

The mother of an alleged Baltimore rioter, who convinced her son to turn himself in to police, now regrets that decision after the teen remains jailed with bail set at $500,000.

Pictures of the son, 18-year-old Allen Bullock, appeared in a Baltimore newspaper over the weekend, showing him smashing a car windshield with a traffic cone.

According to The Daily Mail, the teen's mother and step-father urged Bullock to turn himself in.

Bullock, who had a string of minor convictions as a youth, will be tried as an adult.

He faces eight misdemeanors charges, including rioting, which in Maryland can carry a life sentence.

He remains jailed and his bail set at $500,000.
