SILVER SPRING. Md. - Crews continued to work Monday afternoon to repair two water main breaks along University Boulevard in Silver Spring.
The work shut down all lanes of University Boulevard between Seek Lane and Carroll Avenue since th breaks were reported on Sunday.
Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission has set up a water station at Sligo Elementary School for affected residents.
By early afternoon, road crews had begun repairing the surfaces of University Boulevard. There is still no word if the repairs will keep traffic closed for the evening rush.
