17-year-old arrested for stabbing another teen outside Brookland Metro station

Metro Transit Police have arrested a 17-year-old boy for the stabbing another teenager outside of the Brookland-CUA Metro Station Tuesday afternoon.

The victim suffered a single stab wound in the torso at around 5 p.m. He was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police arrested the suspect at his home in Northwest D.C. They were able to identify him with the help of security cameras on a Metrobus located nearby where the stabbing took place.

Metro says the stabbing did not affect any service on Metro.
