Scalpers sell free tickets to see Pope Francis online for hundreds

- Pope Francis' visit to the U.S. is quickly becoming the hottest ticket around.

Free tickets to one of the Pope's planned speeches in Philadelphia were released Tuesday, and in just a short matter of time, they were on popular sites like StubHub and Craigslist being sold for several hundred dollars apiece!

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia and the city’s mayor said they don't agree with the sales of tickets, but can't stop it.

More free tickets will be handed out Wednesday for those who want to be within a few blocks of the pope's event. These include tickets for the Sept. 26 closing festival of the World Meeting of Families on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and for the pope's Sept. 27 Mass on the parkway.

Tickets for both events will be available at worldmeeting2015.org/tickets on a first-come, first-served basis. People are limited to four tickets each.
