Bird strikes forces emergency landing at BWI airport

A plane made an emergency landing at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport Sunday after a bird strike.

Airport spokesperson Jonathan Green said a U.S. Airways flight was on its way to phoenix when the bird struck the plane's windshield

The pilots turned around and returned to BWI and were able to land the plane landed safely.

No one was injured in the accident.
