You can smoke pot in D.C. -- but where can you buy it legally?

You can smoke it, but you still can't buy pot in D.C. legally. The city allows you to have two ounces and six plants in your home, but getting it there could have you breaking the law. 

Some street dealers tell FOX 5 they don't expect a huge spike in sales-- yet. Meanwhile, the city says you're on your own getting your marijuana, and that could have some users breaking the law.

Marijuana users, especially first-timers, may now have no choice but to be creative in getting their supply. Since Congress and the District have not worked out a pot sales regulation deal, that means residents could be forced to buy their pot seeds or weed illegally.

D.C. pot street dealers tell FOX 5 they don't expect a major spike in sales. Some actually believe customers are more likely to get seeds shipped to them out of state by friends or so-called friends than to chance getting busted by buying it in D.C.

Some other users say it's worth the risk to be able to light up.
