Hardware store chain prepares employees for customers who want to recreate Fifty Shades of Grey

A British chain of DIY hardware stores is anticipating an increase in demand for rope, ties and duct tape, following the opening of the new film Fifty Shades of Grey.

B&Q is preparing their staff for customers who are in search of items used in the erotic romance novel turned movie.

According to the DailyMail, a memo was released to store employees explaining to them how to answer questions from customers attempting to act out a notable scene from the film. The film's main character, Christian Grey, visits a hardware story and purchases items for use in, what the report says are, 'unconventional sexual pursuits.'

The chain said copies of the book will be available at each store location and it urges employees to either read them, or see the film.

The report says that the stores say an increase in sales following the release of the novel in 2012.
