Brown water possible in Germantown after hydrant problems

Residents in some parts of Montgomery County will likely find brown water coming from their taps Friday.

A blown fire hydrant last night near Clopper Mill Elementary School along Cinnamon Drive is causing the issues in the Germantown area.

Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission recommends running all of your faucets at the same time, starting with the top floor of your home on down, for five to ten minutes.
