Dump truck victim thanks US Marshals

A city employee, who nearly lost both her legs in a dump truck accident, is thanking the men that saved her life.

Back in June, Valerie Tillet was walking in the crosswalk outside D.C. superior court, when she was struck and pinned underneath the truck.

Four U.S. Marshals were the first on the scene to help.

Tillet gave them a big thank you Friday.

She underwent emergency surgery and now uses a wheelchair to get around.
