14-year-old girl missing after not returning home from school

WHEATON, Md. - Montgomery County Police are searching for a teenager who was reported missing after not coming home from school Wednesday.

14-year-old Candice Armony Malachi, of Veirs Mill Road in Wheaton, did not return home after classes ended on Wednesday and has not contacted her family.

Malachi is known to frequent the Aspen Hill area and Gaithersburg. She is described as an African American female, approximately 5-feet-5-inches tall, and weighs approximately 120 pounds. She has long, black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a white, long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, a red, full-length Helly Hansen coat, and red Vans sneakers.
