1 injured in Arlington shooting; police search for suspect

Police are investigating after a shooting in Arlington left a person hospitalized. Officers say the shooting happened in the 1000 block of S. Frederick Street around 8:30 a.m.

Investigators say a male victim was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.

Officers say the shooting appears to be an isolated incident and that there is no indication of a larger threat to community.

The suspect is being described as a black male, with a thin build, dreadlocks, and wearing a gray hoodie.
