WASHINGTON - One person is dead after a fiery two vehicle crash in Northwest D.C.
The accident happened around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday on the unit block of Irving Street.
Officials say one of the vehicles caught fire as a result of the accident. One person was killed at the scene. Another person was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the accident is under investigation. Several roads in the area were closed while emergency crews were on the scene.
