1 dead after fiery 4 vehicle crash in Northeast DC

WASHINGTON - One person is dead and several others are injured after a fiery four vehicle crash along a major roadway in Northeast D.C.

The accident happened around 3:30 a.m. on New York Avenue near the intersection of South Dakota Avenue.

All lanes of New York Avenue reopened between Interstate 295 and Bladensburg Road around 8 a.m.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
