Maryland parents charged in their 10-week-old girl's death

ROCKVILLE, Md. - Montgomery County police say a 10-week-old girl's parents have been charged in her death.

Police say 24-year-old Robert Alan Davidson and 22-year-old Lorena Thompson of Rockville have been charged in the death of their daughter, Aleah Thompson.

Police say Davidson called 911 on June 23 to report his daughter wasn't breathing. She died a few days later.

Police say Davidson admitted dropping and shaking Aleah and committing acts that constitute sexual abuse. Police say Thompson admitted seeing injuries on Aleah but didn't seek medical care.

Davidson is charged with second-degree murder, sexual abuse of a minor and first-degree child abuse resulting in death, among other charges. Thompson is charged with first-degree child abuse resulting in death and other charges.
