Police capture alligator wandering at a hospital

Williston police responded to a call about an alligator found wandering near a hospital Saturday morning.
Police said they got the call early Saturday morning from Regional General Hospital about the alligator that was there.
A Williston Animal Control officer responded and was able to capture the gator that was measured at 5 ft. 10 in. long.
Officials said the alligator was turned over to a Florida Fish and Wildlife trapper.
Williston is located about 26 miles northwest of Ocala.
