FOX 5 WTTG - D.C. native and Empire star, Taraji P. Henson joined Good Day DC to dish about her new film.
Henson is the leading actress in the new movie 'What Men Want," directed by Adam Shankman. She plays a sports agent named Ali Davis who is trying to find a way to succeed in a male dominated industry. Ali ultimately seeks help from a psychic, and drinks a strange tea that allows her to hear what men are thinking.
She also opened up about friend and Empire co-star Jussie Smollett, who was recently hospitalized after a possible hate crime.
"He is such a strong spirit and he's resilient. He's going to get through this. It will not break his spirit. His message on life is love and that's what he stands on."
