A new style of living is coming to the D.C. area. 'WeLive' is opening a new building in Crystal City. The new project will provide an affordable way for young professionals to live near the District without breaking the bank.

The project began in New York and targets those who may not have the cash for a traditional apartment and who want to grow their social and business networks.

Living and eating spaces are communal as are laundry areas and bathrooms.

You can play foosball while you wash your clothes, jump in during yoga class, and the fridges even come stocked with plenty of water and beer. Yes, you read correctly…free beer.

Dave McLaughlin, the GM of 'WeWork' on the East Coast and in Canada, says that the Crystal City locations offer individual beds starting at $875 and private room for $1640 a month. He said that the units can be leased from month-to-month.
