Bill would require District employees to live in DC

A new bill that would force District employees to actually live in the District is generating some controversy. The bill has been proposed by Ward 2 councilmember Jack Evans.

Under the bill, new police officers, teachers and firefighters would have to have a District address - but Evans is already facing a lot of opposition.
