What's in and what's out in 2016 from the Washington Post

It's almost the New Year, which means it's time for new trends. Washington Post reporter Elahe Izadi joined FOX 5 to talk about the paper's predictions for what's in and what's out in 2016!

After hitting the streets, Izadi said some things are already popping up on the 'in' list for next year -- like the new HBO comedy 'Insecure' staring Issa Rae. Rae, known for her YouTube comedy series, 'Awkward Black Girl,' and her new book, 'The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl,'  is gearing up for the new comedy set to come sometime at the end of the year.

Keeping Bryce Harper in D.C. is another popular 'in' for 2016.  His reputation as one of Washington's favorite professional athletes earned him a spot.

A local athlete on the 'out' list: Kevin Durant and the push to get him to play for the Washington Wizards.

Nudity is another 'out' especially following Playboy's decision to no longer publish nude photos in their iconic magazine known for, well -- nudity.
