BOOK HILL: Named for nearby Book Hill Park this quaint area is home to the Georgetown galleries, boutiques, antique shops and bakeries.
THE EXORCIST STEPS: The infamous movie scene was shot on these stairs, which still attracts fans today! Those who prefer 'exercise' over 'exorcise' run up all 75 steps as part of their morning workout.
BAKED AND WIRED: Once a graphics store this bakery is now a neighborhood favorite - with everything from coffee and cupcakes to biscuits, cookies, ice cream sandwiches and more.
CADY'S ALLEY: Georgetown's "Design District" nestled in a cluster of historic industrial buildings. More than twenty home furnishing showrooms, fashion and specialty boutiques call this area home. For a snack or lunch break, try the authentic European bistro, Leopold's Kafe or District Doughnut.
THE HISTORIC HOUSES: Retrace the memories of one of America's most iconic couples, John and Jacqueline Kennedy, with a walking tour of their Georgetown homes. The couple called 3307 N. Street home during JFK'S presidential campaign and inauguration. Nearby, JFK proposed to Jackie at a booth inside Martin's Tavern.
