THE MALCOLM X OPPORTUNITY CENTER, - Named after minister and activist Malcolm X, this center in the heart of congress heights is an outlet of opportunity for the community with a computer lab, workforce development, educational opportunities and afterschool programs.
CONGRESS HEIGHTS ARTS & CULTURE CENTER - Kids and adults can tap into their inner artist - from painting workshops, to clothing design, to a working gallery that supports showcases local and national artists. The Center also educates residents on money management, health and wellness and fitness.
THE GATEWAY DC PAVILION - This unique state-of-the-art facility on the Saint Elizabeth's campus features a farmers market, indoor café, community events and lots of green space. Gateway DC hosts a multitude of artistic and musical programming and special events like broccoli city festival and art all night.
SAINT ELIZABETHS EAST CAMPUS CEMETERY - Established in 1873, the cemetery includes more than 2000 military and 3000 civilian gravesites, including those of veterans of numerous wars - from the war of 1812 to World War I.
THE SOUTHEAST TENNIS AND LEARNING CENTER - It's a world class, state-of-the-art, premier tennis facility first opened in 2001 and was remodeled in 2015. This crown jewel facility is a combination tennis facility and educational center, complete with classrooms, a computer lab, sewing center, library, tennis courts and fitness room.
