WASHINGTON - Is it possible that a couple of short, simple words could give you the power to change your outlook and your life? Pastor Joel Osteen says yes! The author of the new book "The Power of I Am," joined us Friday to talk about his message.
The power of what follows the words – I Am – picks up on a simple premise, says Osteen. By defining themselves negatively, a person invites the wrong things in. "You shouldn't be against yourself. There are enough people against us. When you have the right words coming out of your month, the right thoughts your life will go better."
Try starting the day off by saying things like - I am grateful, I am healthy, I am content – Osteen says. By doing this, he says, you invite positive things into your life.
Osteen will be at a book signing at noon on Friday, October 09, 2015 at the Wal-Mart at 6303 Richmond Highway in Alexandria.
