Green Day coming to 9:30 Club as part of North American club tour

Green Day announced they are hitting the road again this fall ahead of the release of their new album and one of the stops for the renowned rock band will be Washington D.C.'s historic 9:30 Club.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers will be taking the stage at 9:30 Club on Oct. 3 as part of their 12-stop North American swing of intimate club shows in September and October before they head off to tour in Europe next year.

Tickets for the 9:30 Club show are $65 and will go on sale on Friday, Sept. 9 starting at 10 a.m. There is a 2-ticket purchase limit per person.

Green Day's 12th studio album, Revolution Radio, will be released on Oct. 7.
