Charlie Sheen says he would be Donald Trump's running mate 'in a heartbeat'

FOX NEWS - Charlie Sheen wants to add his name to Donald Trump's ballot if he becomes the GOP presidential nominee.

The actor, who slammed the GOP front-runner in a tweet last month calling him a "shame pile of idiocy ," has a change of heart and wants to be Trump's running mate.

And it's thanks to Owen Wilson?

"Dear O. Wilson - they took your comment out of context! I'm honored! Thank you! If Trump will have me, I'd be his VP in a heartbeat!" Sheen tweeted over the weekend, probably with his tongue firmly in his cheek, apparently in response to a Daily Beast interview with Wilson.
