WATCH: Kevin McCarthy reviewed 'Spectre,' and Ryan Seacrest approves

- Don't you know who FOX 5 movie guy Kevin McCarthy is? Ask Ryan Seacrest that question, the answer would definitely be yes.

McCarthy caught up with Seacrest on the red carpet before the opening of his latest Seacrest Studios location at Children's National Medical Center in D.C., but it was Seacrest who was asking the first question.

"Did you see Spectre?" he wanted to know. "I heard you liked the first half, but then it got a little slow."

"WHAT?" a stunned McCarthy responded.

The American Idol host then proceeded to recite McCarthy's review of latest James Bond flick-- which is in theaters Friday.

"After I saw your review, I was like-- that guy, he knows what he's doing," he said live on FOX 5.

And it's safe to say there was some major geeking out to follow.

Seacrest was in D.C. for the unveiling of the new Seacrest Studios location-- which is designed with the goal of making some special kids smile when they need it most. Created by the Ryan Seacrest Foundation, the studio is a place where young patients can broadcast their own radio shows throughout the hospital, and they often have special celebrity guests join them in studio to engage with the kids. Not only that, but patients can use the studio to connect with kids in other hospitals across the country-- and Ryan Seacrest himself.

The Ryan Seacrest Foundation's newest facility is the ninth of its kind, and their largest yet. Seacrest was joined by Robin Thicke, Lucy Hale, and Olympic Gold Medalist Katie Ledecky for Friday's opening.
