It is an honor to join the FOX 5 DC news team. My goal is to look at the world differently and to confront the status quo. I am passionate about politics and love to discuss campaigns, elections, policy and ideology.
A friend once said, the days are long, but the years fly by. I think of this often and try to cherish every fleeting moment of life. I love to laugh and make jokes. I take my work seriously, but not myself.
I just spent three incredible years at “Chasing News,” a nightly news program that airs on FOX 5 NYC, FOX 29 PHL & My9 NJ. My coverage of Gov. Chris Christie took me across the country. From Iowa to New Hampshire, to DC and back to Jersey, I reported on his work as governor, RNC chair and presidential candidate. I also covered the announcement and start of Donald Trump's campaign, interviewed Senator Rand Paul and sat down with NJ first lady Mary Pat Christie to learn about her life before meeting the Gov.
Previously I was a professional speaker and development professional, and continue to work as a communication coach and adjunct professor today.
I graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania, where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in systems engineering, along with minors in mathematics and sociology. I earned my Master of Science degree in public communication from Drexel University, where I received the Dean's Fellowship for Academic Achievement.
My husband and I have one amazing child. I am proud of my husband for many reasons, but especially for his service in the United States Marine Corps and his tour of duty in Iraq.
