Doug Luzader joined FOX News in 2002 as a freelance reporter traveling abroad to cover breaking news stories. He is currently the Washington, D.C.-based correspondent for the 35 FOX owned-and-operated television stations.
Most recently, he reported from the frontlines of the crisis in the Middle East and spent a month in Baghdad covering the war in Iraq for FOX News. For the past four years, Luzader has worked as a freelance reporter for FOX and NBC. He also provided live coverage for FOX from Rome and Vatican City on the death of Pope John Paul II and in 2005 he covered the devastating hurricanes that hit the Atlantic coast, including Hurricanes Katrina, Rita and Wilma.
A recipient of several awards and honors, including a fellowship for RTNDF German Studies, Luzader began his career as a reporter for WLNS-TV (CBS) in Lansing, Michigan. He is a graduate of Michigan State University.
